Thought you would all like to share in my excitement of the winner of the election. I was watching the tallies updating every two minutes on MSN for a while this morning, not to mention the election was being followed by the Australian news channels as well, so it was safe to step away to get some books at the library for a few hours. It was on the TV in the library lobby when I arrived there too! When I came back the majority of votes were in. I might actually celebrate with some bubbly tonight.

What is it (specifically) that you like about Obama?
It is apparent that the paradigm of the American population has shifted once again to the left. The democratic party has been called upon like an ER doctor to fix what ails America. I think Obama will be good for the next four years. Repairs must be made in regards to the ecomony and foreign policy. It will be interesting to see the cabinet choices that will be made by Obama and his Chief of Staff Mr. Emanuel. I think that you need fresh ideas to get America out of the mess we are in. PS. For shits and giggles can somebody possiliby get Palin on "Are you smarter than a fifth grader?"
